The Conference "Energy Efficiency Watch" will be held on 1 March 2012 in Wels/Austria in the frame of the international conference World Sustainable Energy Days.

The conference will give an update on the implementation of energy efficiency policies in the EU.

The event is organised as a part of the IEE-project "Energy Efficiency Watch 2" (EEW2) which aims at facilitating the implementation of the "EU-Energy Services Directive". Further information on the Energy Efficiency Watch Project: www.energy-efficiency-watch.org/. It will present the main results achieved by the EEW project so far, including screenings of National Energy Efficiency Action Plans and a comprehensive stakeholder survey on the progress of energy efficiency policies in the EU Member States in the last years. Besides expert presentations, an interactive voting session will be held.

The Energy Efficiency Watch Conference is held in the framework of the annual "World Sustainable Energy Days" conference, one of the largest annual conferences in this field in Europe. In the last years, the annual World Sustainable Energy Days conference attracted more than 10,000 decision makers and experts from 99 countries!
